Adding plugins to your Rust server
Use Oxide (uMod) plugins to add kits, teleports, admin tools and more.
What you need
Rust plugins need a mod framework installed on the server. The most common is Oxide (also called uMod). Install it from your control panel if it's offered, or upload it yourself.
Installing a plugin
- Download the plugin. It's a single file ending in
.cs. - Upload it to the
oxide/pluginsfolder on your server. - Oxide loads it automatically within a few seconds. You don't need to restart.
Changing a plugin's settings
Each plugin creates a settings file in oxide/config. Edit it, save it, then reload the plugin from the console with oxide.reload PluginName.
